* Theosophy is that portion of the Gupta Vidya (Secret Doctrine, Hidden Knowledge) which was most recently permitted to be given out to the public by the Masters of the Wisdom, the hidden esoteric Brotherhood who are the keepers and guardians of that Knowledge or Gnosis.
